Alasdhair Willis (Wallpaper Magazine) new adidas global creative director

The German company – adidas – has appointed Alasdhair Willis as its new creative director. The appointment will take effect next April.

Willis first collaborated with Adidas in 2005, leading the development of the Adidas by Stella McCartney collection. Willis also headed the creative direction of British footwear company Hunter from 2013 to 2020 and is a co-founder of Wallpaper Magazine.

“I want to drive a new phase in the brand’s design and leadership, accelerating its growth to new levels,” Willis said. “As Adidas’ chief creative officer, Willis will provide creative leadership on a global scale and develop the brand’s creative culture,” the company explained.
