Alice Wonder’s “SOUL0ST” is here

This is the Madrid-based artist’s third studio album and her first under the Sony Music label.

Today, 24 October, marks a turning point in Alice Wonder‘s career, brought about by ‘SOUL0ST’, a fourteen-chapter spiritual experience: a descent into hell, an ascent to heaven and an inevitable and necessary landing in the real world.

Defined by the author herself as a ‘guide to the altered state of reality’, this project is an introspective exploration of light and shadow, of that duality that inevitably dwells within each of us. ‘It’s about shedding a little light on those shadows we fear and a little shadow on that harsh light of fear, as we realise that everything has a little bit of everything,’ she confesses.

The result is a bilingual journey, halfway between English and Spanish, in which different aesthetic universes coexist: from the organic rawness of his early compositions to the emotional density of more experimental pieces, which move between electronic and rock music.

The tour features well-known songs such as “i. do you love me”, “ii. (ali despierta) subconsciente” and “vii. Tormenta”, as well as new additions such as “iii. La droga más suave del mundo” and “xiv. despertar”.

‘Each song is a chapter, each chapter symbolises a lesson, and each lesson has an obstacle, an obstacle whose overcoming leads to a new virtue to be integrated into the system,’ explains Alice.
