Little more than two years after launching his solo career with Tiene que haber algo más, Alizzz‘s debut album in which he distanced himself from his facet as a producer for some of the most important artists on the scene, Cristian Quirante presents Conducción temeraria, his second full-length album.
Developing the discourse marked by his last EP, Boycott, Alizzz is inspired on this occasion by the Strokes, Blur, Los Planetas, Mk.gee or Triángulo de Amor Bizarro – the artist himself shared a playlist with his references for the album – to give rise to a more distorted album, more noise than his previous work, which on this occasion has the electric guitar as the absolute protagonist without losing sight of the electronica at any time.
In addition to Quirante’s own work, ‘Conducción temeraria’ features productions by Innercut and Ferran Gisbert and vocal collaborations by María Arnal, Clara Viñals – from Renaldo & Clara – and Cuco.
‘Sex on the beach’ is Alizzz and Amaia’s ode to summer love.
