adidas Skateboarding and Dime debuts an all-new footwear and apparel collection inspired by the Three Stripes brand’s rich history and influence, fashion and culture.
The adidas Dime Collection modernizes heritage adidas models models with ADV skate performance features imbued with Dime‘s distinctive design language that’s equal parts fun and sophisticated. With shared values of uplifting the skateboarding community through authentic partnerships and quality offerings, the partner-led collection will immerse both skateboarders and streetwear enthusiasts alike into the adidas x Dime universe.

Maintaining Dime‘s tradition of bringing fun and creativity into everything they conceive, its debossed tonal restoration graphic can be seen throughout the collection. In 2018, the graphic was adopted by Dime as a jigsaw puzzle that was influenced by a meme-inspired “Ecce Homo” art restoration project that had gone viral an has continued to appear in different iterations in Dime‘s seasonal collections since. Alongside the graphic, Dime‘s signature ‘wave design’ also takes center stage in the collection as part of the brand’s DNA.
Merging two iconic properties and brand narratives together, Dime reimagines the classic Superstar to create the polished Superstar ADV by Dime. Arriving in a full grain leather upper, the footwear features the iconic ‘wave design’ vertically up the rear heel and across the patent three stripes with pops of the metallic gold co-branding. Finishing off the silhouette’s aesthetic is the debossed tonal restoration graphic on the tongue alongside the quintessential rubber shell toe and a 70% smoked translucent rubber outsole for added durability.
Maintaining the classic look and feel of the Superstar, the collection’s matching Superfire Track Top and Track Pant weave the same historically connected brand story. With subtle hints of the ‘wave design’ and meme-inspired tonal restoration graphic implemented, the tracksuit receives a recycled Polyester/cotton mix and features embroidered co-branding details without being overbearing. Created in a classic loose cut, the tracksuit is a timeless product that could reference any decade from the 80s and onward.
The adidas Dime Collection will be available for purchase exclusively on May 13 via www.dimemtl.com and worldwide on May 14 via www.adidas.com/skateboarding, CONFIRMED app and in select skate specialty retailers. Available in two colorways (Carbon/Brown, White/Wonder White) the Superstar ADV by Dime retails and the Superfire Track Top and Pant by Dime (Black, Magic Grey).
