All about the world’s largest cruise ship

The ship, five times the size of the Titanic, will set sail in early 2024 and will be equipped with a full range of services and facilities.

Named ‘Icon of the Seas Royal Caribbean’, it is the largest cruise ship in the world with a length of 365 metres and was built in Finland. Inside it houses the largest water park at sea (six water slides, seven pools and nine whirlpools, a show lounge and a pool deck with bar), forty restaurants, bars and entertainment venues and up to twenty-eight different forms of accommodation.

It can accommodate 7,600 passengers and 2,350 crew members, and has already completed its first sea trials this month. Once the second round of the process has been completed, the ship will be ready to set sail in January 2024, the date set for its debut in the city of Miami.
