Converse is back at it again and, this time, with the new SHAI 001 “Pink”, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature trainers, arriving just in time for spring. The Canadian point guard, one of the NBA’s standout talents and leader of the Oklahoma City Thunder, has become a reference point not only for his skill on the court but also for his style away from it — something that clearly comes through in this silhouette. To begin with, they stand out for being entirely pink. What’s more, Shai himself unveiled them during a public appearance last September and, since then, they’ve continued to generate buzz.
