It is accelerating its global expansion in destinations such as the United States and Japan.
After celebrating its 30th anniversary with a privatisation deal worth £2.7 billion, the British company has unveiled its ambitious goals for 2026, which include international expansion, the renovation of iconic spaces and a firm commitment to wellbeing, experience and technology.
With the recently opened Soho House Manchester—the first in northern England—the focus for next year is clearly on the United States. New York is consolidating its position as one of the major hubs of the plan: the brand will completely renovate Soho House New York, its 4,180 m² space overlooking the Hudson River in the Meatpacking District, with a special emphasis on new health and wellness benefits for members.
Added to this is the opening of Soho House Flatiron, which will become the fourth—and largest—club in the city. The new enclave will feature a Soho Health Club equipped with the company’s ‘most advanced gym’, as well as a social club, rooftop terrace, and hotel, reinforcing the idea of Soho House as a comprehensive creative ecosystem.
Beyond Manhattan, Soho Farmhouse New York, its retreat in upstate New York, will continue to develop, with special dinners featuring guest chefs already planned. And, for the first time, the Soho House Festival will land in the Big Apple on 3 October 2026.
In Los Angeles, Soho House Holloway will also undergo renovations, while Mexico joins the map with the opening of Soho House Los Cabos, at the southern tip of Baja California. On the opposite side of the country, Soho Beach House Miami will also undergo a comprehensive renovation.
One of the major milestones of 2026 will be the opening of the 50th Soho House location, which will also mark its debut in Japan. Soho House Tokyo, scheduled to open in the spring, will be located in the Minami-Aoyama neighbourhood and will feature four floors of club space, a rooftop swimming pool, a wellness studio and 42 rooms.
In the United Kingdom, plans are moving forward with a more natural proposal. At Babington House, on the outskirts of London, The Lazy Wood will arrive, an idyllic renovation with new fully equipped wooden cabins, hidden among the rural grounds of the property. For its part, Soho House Manchester will open its rooftop swimming pool in the middle of the year, just in time for the warmer months.
Europe also continues to gain weight in the global strategy. The brand has confirmed new openings in Milan, Madrid and Lisbon, as well as a second project in Italy with the arrival of Soho Farmhouse Tuscany, reinforcing its presence in key locations across the continent.
