Puerto Rican rap stars Álvaro Díaz and Tainy join forces once again in “PARANOIA,” their latest single available today via Universal Music Latino. After the success they achieved together with “Paranormal” in 2024, Díaz and Tainy deliver a new song that explores the insecurities and doubts within a romantic relationship. “This track marks the end of one era and the beginning of another. I’m ready for you all to see how this new project develops. I feel like I’m creating the best music I’ve ever made,” says Díaz.
The video was filmed in Madrid and directed by The Movement under the creative direction of Díaz and his team, Serio. The video was inspired by the film The Bikeriders (2023), and the narrative was inspired by an evil ex similar to the one in the film Scott Pilgrim v The World (2010). The visuals feature scenes of a couple facing tension, arguments, and meaningful glances, all to the rhythm of the song’s central question: is it paranoia, or is love just not the same anymore?
Díaz is coming off an unstoppable year, after his successful tour through Latin America and Spain where he sold more than 70 thousand tickets and after receiving 5 Tú Música Urbano Awards nominations in the categories of Album of the Year (Male Artist) – SAYONARA, Collaboration of the Year – Gatitas Sandungueras Vol. 1 with Feid, Indie Artist, Indie Song – XQ ERES ASÍ feat. Nathy Peluso and Male Rising Star. Tomorrow he will make his debut at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico with 2 SOLD-OUT shows where 22 thousand of his die-hard fans will be present.
Álvaro Díaz will return to Spain in 2025 with the ‘Sayonara Tour’.
