With ‘Homecoming’, AMBUSH’s FW25 collection marks a return to its origins, revisiting the fundamentals with a new interpretation. Founded in Tokyo, the brand has always been synonymous with breakneck speed, where unforeseen collaborations intertwine with the relentless energy of the streets of Shibuya. This season, however, AMBUSH stops time to reflect on its own legacy.
In this journey of reinterpretation, the brand turns its most iconic pieces such as tracksuits and T-shirts on their head, infusing them with a feminine delicacy that softens, without losing the ruggedness inherent to its identity. The sand-toned ensembles are embellished with lace necklines and cut-outs. The surprise comes with the heart-shaped bag, suspended from a metal chain and accompanied by hardware jewellery.
In keeping with his relaxed yet athletic style, coated cotton sweatshirts are layered under layers of denim embellished with crystals, while in other combinations, frayed tracksuits appear provocatively under a black trench coat with leather detailing. Shorter knits emphasise the low-waisted silhouette, while layering takes over the visual narrative.
Fur and fur become symbols of unexpected sensuality, imbuing the collection with the softness of sheepskin, teddy socks, shaggy coats and boots that bring a tactile texture that contrasts with the hardness of leather studs. Fur topsiders, advancing the collaboration with UGG, anticipate a fusion of the utilitarian and the stylish.
Although “Homecoming” FW25 is not yet available for purchase, it will be available later this year in selected shops.
