In a world where experiences hold greater value than possessions, American Express once again sets itself apart. Its new programme, Dining for Two, transcends the simple idea of dinner — it’s an invitation to experience haute cuisine through intimacy and privilege.
Exclusively reserved for Platinum, Business Platinum and Centurion Cardmembers, this new benefit offers two annual experiences at some of Spain’s most renowned restaurants. Each evening features a bespoke menu for two, crafted especially for the occasion and served in an environment that — for one night only — closes its doors to the public, welcoming solely American Express guests.
Between October and November 2025, Dining for Two will unfold across Madrid, Barcelona and Málaga. The line-up speaks for itself: StreetXO, BiBo, Leña, Lobito de Mar, Hofmann, Erre Urrechu, Tragatá and TragaBuches, among others. Each restaurant will offer a unique culinary journey that reflects both the essence of its chef and the character of the venue.
“The launch of Dining for Two allows us to reinforce the unique value proposition of American Express, which aims to offer our Cardmembers access to exclusive, carefully curated experiences that make a difference in their everyday lives,” explains Juan Orti, President of American Express Spain.
The project reaffirms the brand’s long-standing commitment to the gastronomy sector and its vision of exclusivity as a form of contemporary culture. It’s not merely about booking a table — it’s about entering a world where every detail has been designed to surprise.

Bookings, now available via the Amex Experiences app, allow Cardmembers to select their preferred restaurant, date and time slot. Once confirmed, a QR code grants access to an evening defined by refinement and privilege.
