Aminé presents the New Balance Biblioteca 2000, with its release date confirmed for 3 October. This marks the artist’s next step with the brand after working on the 740 and 610 models, this time drawing on the ABZORB 2000, an early-2000s design inspired by technical running.
The pair comes in acid green with a glow-in-the-dark sole and a high-gloss finish. Its construction retains the signature ABZORB cushioning and SBS pods, reinforcing the sleek and futuristic lines of the upper.
The release is accompanied by special packaging, inspired by the North Portland Library bookdrop and marked with Aminé’s customised New Balance wordmark. The artist has also encouraged book donations to this local library for the chance to win a free pair.
Aminé x New Balance Biblioteca 2000 will be available from 3 October at CLBN via Laylo.
