Apple has reignited the hype. The Cupertino giant has sent out official invites for its iconic September event, this year under the motto “It’s Glowtime.” The event is scheduled for September 9 at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) at the Steve Jobs Theater, located in the futuristic Apple Park.
What to expect? All rumors point to the presentation of the highly anticipated iPhone 16, accompanied by the latest versions of the Apple Watch, AirPods, and a series of software updates that promise to take the Apple experience to the next level.
According to sources such as 9to5Mac, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will arrive with an optimized A18 chip with 8 GB for Apple Intelligence, touch buttons such as the “action button” and the new capture button for the camera, as well as a renewed palette that includes blue, green, pink, white and black tones. On the other hand, the Pro models will be upgraded with an A18 Pro chip, 16 and 17 cm screens and finishes in black, natural, white and bronze titanium.
But that’s not all. The Apple Watch Series 10, one of the most anticipated gadgets, could be redesigned with a slimmer profile, better features and sensors that aim to monitor sleep apnea and hypertension, among others.
The AirPods 4 also have their spotlight assured. Expectations revolve around an H2 chip, more hours of autonomy and advanced hearing features.
Finally, Apple will reveal the release dates of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2 and macOS Sequoia. The firm is ready to set the pace for what’s coming, combining style and technology at its most anticipated event of the year.
