Florence, cradle of the Renaissance and eternal epicenter of Ferragamo’s history, serves as the perfect backdrop for Ferragamo’s 2023 holiday campaign. The Italian city becomes a theatrical canvas where architectural and cultural richness merges with contemporary fashion, creating a dazzling backdrop for the maison’s latest masterpiece.
The Campaign embodies the juxtaposition of two creative visions, represented by Italian artist Paolo Ventura and young Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti. Ventura transforms iconic views of Florence into timeless paintings, while Pavarotti captures the essence of the Ferragamo community in images that transcend time. This visual dialogue brings the historical and the contemporary into conversation harmoniously. From the imposing Palazzo Vecchio to the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, each photographic image reveals the duality of the city: historical solemnity and modern joy.
Under the art direction of Ferdinando Verderi and styling by Ibrahim Kamara, the campaign highlights not only Florence’s iconic landmarks, but also the handcrafted products designed by Maximilian Davis. The exclusive looks ranging from fitted silhouettes to denim and leather garments, après-ski ensembles and iconic accessories such as the Hug bag, Fiamma shoulder bag, Gancini loafers and laceless shoes with cut-out details.
The festive essence is reflected in the carefully curated gift line, which includes small leather goods in gold and silver, classic belts in timeless shades and soft scarves with the Ferragamo logo. Each piece is not only a gift for the closet, but also a tribute to the exceptional craftsmanship that defines the brand.
The Holiday 2023 Campaign is a magical encounter in the heart of Florence, in which the Italian house not only pays homage to its heritage, but also embraces contemporary creativity, creating a unique visual experience that illuminates the holiday season with the timeless elegance of Ferragamo.
