ASICS presents an updated and futuristic version of its GEL-KAHANA TR V2 in a limited edition called “MOON PACK”, which includes this silhouette in two tones, one light and one dark, possibly symbolizing the light and dark sides of the moon.
The pair features utility-style outer lacing systems that provide added support and style. This system incorporates a main set of laces that thread through metal eyelets and secure at the upper with metal hooks. A second lacing system provides additional stability, starting at the toe and running across the entire upper, fastening at the heel with an adjustable closure.
Both pairs are primarily constructed with monochromatic mesh and rubberized ripstop overlays, with the lighter pair featuring semi-translucent ASICS stripe logos.
Although not officially confirmed, so far it is believed that the “MOON PACK” will be exclusive to China. It is expected to be available starting August 12 through ASICS, with a retail price of $110 USD.
