‘Auction for Action’ emerges as a creative and supportive response to support the recovery of Valencia through the power of art.

Auction for Action: International artists unite to rebuild Valencia through art

The auction offers a wide variety of pieces, with works available from €300 to tens of thousands, many of which are by artists whose works are rarely available to the public. This is just the beginning; new works by artists from around the world will be added in the future. This collective effort is already generating support on Instagram, where an enthusiastic community has mobilised to contribute additional donations to help the rebirth of the most affected areas of Valencia.

The ‘Auction for Action’ project has a personal background, as Felipe Pantone’s studio was also severely damaged by the floods. However, none of the funds raised will go towards restoring the studio. Instead, every euro raised will be channelled directly to trusted local foundations. These include the Coloring the World Foundation, which will ensure that donations reach the areas most in need, and another Valencian foundation that is currently in talks to join the initiative.

‘Although my studio and my works were affected by the storm DANA, I don’t consider myself a victim. This initiative is about lifting up the people of Valencia. Every donation from this auction will go directly to foundations dedicated to supporting the recovery of our city and its communities. Together, through art, we are helping Valencia to emerge stronger,’ said Felipe Pantone.

The goal of Auction for Action is to rally global support for this urgent cause. There is an international call for everyone to join in and amplify this message of solidarity. Every gesture, every purchase, every donation counts to help rebuild Valencia and support its people. ‘Our goal is for Auction for Action to garner widespread support for this critical cause. We are making an international call for everyone to join in and amplify this message. Together, we can help the people of Valencia rebuild’.
