Audemars Piguet and KAWS are up to something

Judging by a short teaser posted on their social media.

The iconic Swiss watchmaker has joined forces with Brian Donnelly, known artistically as KAWS, in a collaboration that is already generating too much hype.

The news came in the form of an audiovisual preview revealing a mysterious silhouette wearing an apron bearing the Audemars Piguet logo. A sort of nod to the house’s artisanal savoir-faire culminates in an appearance of the grey KAWS Companion, pressing his hands against a fogged glass, creating an atmosphere charged with intrigue.

The screen fades to reveal both logos and the message ‘APxKAWS. Stay tuned”, confirming that this meeting is coming soon.

Some rumours suggest that the collaboration could go beyond a simple watch – a special edition Royal Oak, or perhaps an apparel capsule? We’ll soon find out.
