Audemars Piguet turns to 1017 ALYX 9SM to design an exclusive collection

The Minimal Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore watches, two of Audemars Piguet’s iconic timepieces, are reinterpreted through the unique vision of Matthew Williams.

Maintaining a minimalist approach with the aim of highlighting some of the finest details of both models as well as their vertical satin finishes, the acclaimed designer has designed a series of timepieces that fuse the Audemars Piguet tradition with the language and codes of the 1017 ALYX 9SM. Only the highest quality materials have been used to ensure exclusive pieces and a completely sustainable approach, resulting in timepieces ranging from 37 to 42 mm in diameter.

The Royal Oak selection is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold and features a 37mm and a 41mm automatic model. The former counts the hours, minutes and seconds, while the latter has no counter at all and keeps only three, six and nine o’clock.

The new Royal Oak Offshore watches, on the other hand, remain true to their minimalist essence and feature only the time information. They are available in 18-carat white or yellow gold and come with a choice of interchangeable straps.
