Bad Bunny conquers Tiny Desk with ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS’

The acclaimed artist took over the space with a set that exudes the essence of Puerto Rico.

After years of rumours and requests, Benito finally offered his audience the long-awaited recording. The Tiny Desk, a space traditionally reserved for quieter performances, was transformed into the perfect stage for him to display his talent with his band LoS SOBRiNOS, led by master percussionist Julito Gastón and made up of musicians Luis Irizarry, Big Jay Anthony, Krystal Santana, Emanuel Santana, Luis Sanz and Fabiola Méndez.

The session began to the rhythm of PIToRRO DE COCO, which showed why Bad Bunny is number one. But it wasn’t just the music that stood out, it was the unparalleled atmosphere created by his band and the interaction between the members. Together, they managed to create a perfect chemistry that transformed the Tiny Desk into a private party.

The first big surprise came with VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR, a song that, as he himself explained, is a tribute to his homeland. He then immersed himself in the energy of KLOuFRENS, followed by LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii and LA MuDANZA. Each track was a sonic journey where the artist did not hesitate to play with genres and rhythm.

The closing came with DtMF, condensing the album’s proposal in a forceful and brief way.
