This collaboration marks a turning point in the relationship between high fashion and streetwear, combining the DNA of two global style giants. Featuring a selection of clothing, footwear, bags and accessories, the collection fuses PUMA’s sporting roots with Balenciaga‘s avant-garde and often subversive aesthetic, resulting in a proposition that breaks with the traditional boundaries of both worlds.
The jewel of the collection is the joint reinterpretation of the Ultrasoft Speedcat silhouette, a reimagining of PUMA’s iconic Speedcat OG. The model, available in white, navy blue and black, takes cues from the original racing shoe aesthetic, with an aged look highlighted by the deconstruction of the famous foam strip on the side panel and worn suede on the upper. The discreet brand presence is limited to PUMA embroidery on the toe cap and minimal shared branding details.
In terms of clothing, the collection ranges from sporty and minimalist to contemporary, with coordinated tracksuits, bomber jackets, zip-up hoodies, a leather jacket, a quilted waistcoat and a suede bathrobe. Completing the look are caps with cut-out visors, socks, gloves, oversized glasses and, of course, the Marché Bag, a Dyneema shopping bag that adds the finishing touch.
