To welcome its new shop, Balenciaga has launched limited edition items. The brand teamed up with local shop Finza Kuroda Toen to produce ceramic bowls and bases. Balenciaga also linked up with Toraya for Japanese sweets. Highlights include the exclusive Balenciaga Ginza series, which includes T-shirts and hoodies featuring the Tokyo Tower along with shirt-style dresses, the TRIPLE S “Ginza Tokyo” and the LE CITY M bag in grey.
To create the debut Ginza shop in the TORAYA building, Balenciaga was inspired by the concept of “Spring Architecture”. With an environmentally conscious approach, the shop retains some of the excavated details along with special glass treatments. With a height of three floors, the space is configured to include menswear and ready-to-wear womenswear along with accessories.
Balenciaga‘s debut Ginza shop will open its doors on 27 April.
