Balmain and evian announce the second phase of their collaboration which continues with the launch of a ready-to-wear capsule of garments and accessories.

Balmain and evian’s second collaboration combines the fashion brand’s sportier aesthetic with a palette of pastel shades in honour of the image of the iconic natural water from the French Alps. Olivier Rousteing and his design team have created a series of accessories and ready-to-wear garments under the slogan: “Together, Change is Beautiful”. The collection is made from environmentally friendly materials, practices and innovations.

Materials include GOTS-certified organic cotton1, FSC-certified viscose2 and various GRS-certified recycled materials3 in swimwear, T-shirts, hoodies, bombers, jackets and jeans. But not only that, the labels are also made of recycled polyester, the paper packaging is made of pulp from FSC-certified forests and the hangers and bags are made of recycled plastic.

“It’s really special to have the opportunity to meet with a fellow French pioneer who also values cutting-edge innovations, to collectively illustrate the beauty of togetherness. We are very excited to launch this Balmain x evian ready-to-wear collection, available for all evian fans and Balmain followers around the world to shop online and in-store,” says evian’s Global Head of evian, Dawid Borowiec.

Both Balmain and Evian have roots in Savoie, the mountainous region of southeastern France. The house’s founder, Pierre Balmain, was born in the small alpine village of Saint Jean de Maurienne, not far from the peaks where evian water begins its fifteen-year underground filtering process. The campaign for the second Balmain x evian collaboration highlights this shared origin.

Filmmaker and photographer Carlota Guerrero shot the campaign featuring the acclaimed dance group La Marche Bleue. “I always strive to create a safe space for people to feel respected, beautiful and connected in my work. Togetherness and the natural beauty that comes with it are very important parts of this campaign and it was a pleasure to work on something that is so in line with my own personal beliefs.”
