“Barbie” reveals star-studded cast and releases new trailer

This summer, the campy comedy stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, and more stars have already been confirmed to star in the film, including Dua Lipa herself.

The highly anticipated comedy directed by Greta Gerwig that will hit theaters on July 21, has revealed the official posters where we can see for the first time the star-studded cast. Among them, besides the main protagonists Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, are Dua Lipa as a mermaid doll, Issa Rae, Nicole Coughlin, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, America Ferreira, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey or Will Ferrell.

In the fun official posters, the personalities of each character are revealed: Barbie president, Barbie writer, Barbie gymnast, Barbie lawyer… The male characters are labeled as “another Ken”, “Ken again”, and “he’s Ken too”. In addition to the dolls, several human characters also appear.

The movie inspired by the iconic Mattel dolls has released its second trailer, which gives us an idea of what we can expect to see on the screens this summer. Barbie decides to enter the real world, and as always, Ken has wanted to accompany her, without forgetting his roller skates. In addition, the story also chronicles the executive and creative decisions that lead to Barbie’s creation.
