Balenciaga launches the Basketball Series, a collection that takes the crossover between luxury and sport to another level. The series is a continuation of his exploration of sportswear and basketball aesthetics, and comes just ahead of the arrival of his coveted Basketball Sneaker in 2025, which we’ve already seen among the pieces in the Summer 25 and Fall 25 collections.
The collection takes the codes of the sport, but reinvents them with the Loop Sports Icon logo and basketball graphics on disruptive fabrics. Imagine a leather varsity jacket, a technical poplin tracksuit with a futuristic twist, or tank tops and jacquard shorts that are as comfortable as they are stylish. But that’s not all: you’ll also find vintage jersey tees, cotton drill caps and a selection of hoodies, sweatpants and fleece shorts.
The Basketball Series will be available in selected Balenciaga shops and on the official Balenciaga website, balenciaga.com.
