BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE presents an updated version of the Japanese Y2K aesthetic

Launched in 2022, BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE by BEAMS has positioned itself at the core of the avant-garde in the fashion system. Now, having moved its imagery to its first physical shop in the Harajuku district, it presents its collection for the spring-summer 2024 season.

Centred on the theme of “DIRTY HARD BLING“, the SS24 range glimpses its contemporary take on the chaotic Y2K culture through a style that fuses London streetwear spirit, celeb culture and Japanese gyaru.

The collection features Japanese-made denim with elaborate finishes, marked by wide, low-rise silhouettes and contrasting lengths and slits at the hems. Meanwhile, a mesh zip-up sweatshirt, a soft knitted sweatshirt and a knitted sweatshirt in different shades complete the range, along with accessories such as belts and chains that reinforce the recurring crosses and skulls motifs.

The BEAMS FUTURE ARCHIVE SS24 collection will be available at BEAMS Harajuku Annex from 19 January.
