BIMBA Y LOLA organised a cocktail yesterday at the Museo Reina Sofía to mark its support for the Maruja Mallo solo exhibition, which opened on 8 October and will be on display until 16 March 2026. The brand participates as a patron of the exhibition’s public programme.
The event brought together well-known figures from culture and fashion, including Anna Castillo, Almudena Amor, Silma López, Loreto Mauleón, Lola Rodríguez, Filip Custic, Mister Piro, Miguel Leiro, Teresa Sapey, Manuel Segade, Nerea Pérez de las Heras, Mariang Maturana, Natalia Lacunza, Lourdes Hernández, Julia de Castro, Isa Hernáez and Alba Galocha. Among the highlights, performer Sansano appeared dressed as Maruja Mallo.
The exhibition showcases the work of one of the most distinctive creators of the Spanish avant-garde, whose marine and vegetal forms, popular rituals and surrealist visions resonate with BIMBA Y LOLA’s spirit of experimentation and colour. The collaboration includes guided tours, meetings and special experiences for clients, bringing art closer to the public within a fashion and urban culture context.
This tribute to Maruja Mallo adds to BIMBA Y LOLA cultural trajectory, which has included collaborations with artists such as Kentaro Okawara, Emma Gaspar and Georgina Treviño, as well as partnerships with the National Gallery, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to connecting fashion and culture.
