BIMBA Y LOLA presents its second collaboration with Palomo Spain

BIMBA Y LOLA joins Palomo Spain in a new edition of the BIMBA Y PALOMO collaboration, where creative and technical experimentation continues to be the common language for both brands. The chrysanthemum continues the floral magic that triggered the rose in the first affair between BIMBA AND PALOMO: in this new edition, the deep and almost fantastic imaginary of Palomo Spain and the universe of BIMBA Y LOLA make up a collection as subtle as it is resounding, which will be presented at the Palomo Spain fashion show during NYFW on 7 September.

After the success of the first capsule last FW23, which highlighted the local roots of both brands, BIMBA Y PALOMO returns this FW24 with a new proposal that combines delicate transparencies with the temperament of black leather, the omnipresent material both in sets of oversized trousers with darts, biker jackets at waist level, and skirts with a pronounced leg slit.

A powerful vision of the woman, with animal print on sets of jackets and dresses as well as on lapels and maxi bags. The most sought-after dinner jacket of the season, consisting of a jacket with an ultra-flared waist and brutalist shoulder pads, seems to contain the cigarette smoke that used to accompany the actress Marlene Dietrich. Wide lapel loafers and a pair of trousers with an infinite drop complete this look immersed in a stimulating play of genres present throughout the collection.

BIMBA Y PALOMO designs an evening with the dress as the absolute protagonist. This garment worthy of a red carpet is combined with ultra-delicate formulas such as chiffon fabrics versus leopard print or sweetheart necklines on leather, and almost always accompanied by jackets and XXL coats in synthetic fur in fantasy colours such as tangerine, mauve or quartz pink. The bondage counterpoint is provided by leather belts, accompanied by over-the-knee boots, katiuskas and pumps.

For this collection, the chrysanthemum, a flower that symbolises passion and good fortune in oriental culture, expands in a large and unlimited size on golden brooches on sandals and charms on bags with chains, colossal rings, necklaces and earrings. The clutch with the silhouette of a prominent rose that eclipsed the first BIMBA Y PALOMO collection returns this season in new formats and colours such as pink and gold, the same palette that also infects the BIMBA Y PALOMO version of the iconic BIMBA Y LOLA Chihuahua bag.
