BLACKPINK’s JENNIE joins Chanel’s Bag 22 campaign

Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh, the Chanel campaign featuring the 22 Bag stars JENNIE de BLACKPINK, Lily-Rose Depp, Whitney Peak and Margaret Quealley.

In addition to the official images that were presented in April last year, the campaign is composed of an audiovisual piece in which the vision of Virginie Viard and JENNIE meet to create a story that blends Korean culture with the codes of Chanel. The South Korean artist appears in a traditional Hanok house that has been “beautifully modernised”.

“We wanted to place this imaginary JENNIE in a less realistic and more fantastic setting. Her character has fabulous animated wings in the video that make it even more magical,” says the photography duo.
