Chanel presents its new Fall/Winter 2025-26 pre-collection campaign starring BLACKPINK member and actress, Jennie. Photographed by Craig McDean in the gardens of the Palais-Royal, the proposal establishes a direct dialogue with the legacy of Gabrielle Chanel and the energy of the leading ladies of romantic comedies of the nineties.
The collection is built on the contrast between masculine and feminine codes. Broad shoulders, cashmere coats and overlays mark a silhouette that plays with period references without falling into nostalgia.
‘The nineties have always spoken to me,’ says Jennie in a statement. “I like how these women could be strong and vulnerable at the same time. The way they dressed was playful, with a balance between feminine and masculine.”
The proposal includes black corsets with the structure of a masculine waistcoat, leather coats and key accessories such as the Chanel 25 bag and beret, used as visual anchor points in a cohesive ensemble.
Jennie notes that the masculine-feminine styling gives her balance and confidence. She emphasises how the collection interprets shapes through pieces such as the black coat with pronounced shoulders or the double crêpe corset, which combine strength and elegance. For her, it is not a question of choosing between masculine and feminine, but of being both at the same time.
The collection presented by Jennie is now available in selected Chanel boutiques.
