‘Blondey Pro’ is the new silhouette from adidas Skateboarding

A tribute to THAMES MMMXX rider and founder Blondey’s intense affinity for the timeless adidas Superstar model.

Uniting the innovative design features first introduced on the Blondey Superstar with the DNA of the original Superstar, the Pro is a true reflection of Blondey‘s forward-thinking vision and creative legacy, which continues to influence and inspire the codes of skateboarding and international fashion.

“Making your own stuff from scratch is one thing. But to be entrusted with the DNA of another brand, to build on a proven formula, to write a chapter or even a paragraph in a book like this, is a big responsibility. And with great responsibility comes great emotion,” says the creative.

As such, the Blondey Pro silhouette debuts in two colourways and builds on the rider’s tradition of combining a couture-inspired aesthetic with skate performance in a fully transparent TPU upper. A bold material that has been a staple in Blondey‘s major footwear releases with the brand. The transparent upper combines with the classic look and feel of the Superstar Shell Toe along with the skater’s namesake accented with gold foil; synthetic leather eyelets; the silhouette’s signature footbed and serrated three stripes.

The Blondey Pro in INDIGO / AURUM will be available from 5 August via thamesmmxx.com and the CONFIRMED app. The FTW WHITE / CORE BLACK / OFF WHITE colourway will be released on 25 August.
