This summer, the Blumarine woman doesn’t walk… she floats. Fresh out of the ocean, her body still marked by the waves, she glides between liquid fabrics, provocative transparencies, and an imagery that blends marine fantasy with a well-calibrated Y2K nostalgia. She is an urban, hedonistic nymph, unafraid of heat or drama.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection draws directly from the power of water. Chiffon, georgette, and voile become a vaporous, almost floating second skin. Asymmetrical blouses with infinity scarves, hand-pleated dresses that barely graze the thigh, and slip dresses that seem still drenched in the sea, dotted with liquid sequins and crystal fringes.
Flowers—as if melting under the August sun—appear strategically applied to necklines or diluted in ethereal prints. Animal print doesn’t disappear, but mutates: leopard print softens in mini shorts and fluid nightgowns. Everything feels damp, billowing, alive.
The hues: nuclear white, swimming pool blue, acid yellow, and duchesse metallics that reflect the sun like a sea surface. The crackled leather evokes sun-scorched landscapes, a raw nod to the hypersensual lightness of the silhouettes.
The tight-fitting trousers crisscross with laces, accompanied by sheer tops and fringes that leave little (or nothing) to the imagination. Luxury melts in the details: metallic roses in the shape of jewels and high-heeled sandals that snake around the leg, with crystals that simulate beads of glistening sweat.
Blumarine SS25 doesn’t propose, it provokes. It doesn’t hide, it dazzles. It’s an ode to desire, to summer, to the body.
