Just 10 days ago, Blumarine unveiled its SS23 campaign where it explored the aquatic universe through mythological figures. Now, for FW23, it’s swapping water for fire with a much more assertive approach.
Nicola Brognano has managed to fuse her Y2K sartorial identity with some of the most characteristic elements of the 80s, such as the boho-chic aesthetic. Thus, pointed toe boots, cargo trousers and structured skirts meet ruffled blouses, fur waistcoats or fringed dresses.
Draped and metallic ensembles did not go unnoticed, while buckle details adorned many of the designs. Finally, outerwear pieces made their way into bolder colours such as coral and faded green. All this on an apocalyptic catwalk created from moss and earth, with the iconic Blumarine B in flames in the background.
