The spring of 2025 won’t be remembered as just another in the recent history of Madrid’s electronic music scene. It will be remembered as the season in which Brunch Electronik demonstrated its resilience, consolidated its narrative, and reaffirmed its power to attract audiences in the face of adversity. What began with a setback—the cancellation of all outdoor events at IFEMA in early April—was transformed, thanks to a maneuver of surgical precision, into a new milestone.
The Manzanares Linear Park hosted four vibrant gatherings (May 10, 11, 17, and 18) that brought together more than 28,000 people in just two weekends. More than 35 hours of electronic music in its purest form, three days of which sold out days in advance. An unequivocal sign that the public not only trusts Brunch, but also follows it with devotion. But if spring was epic, what’s coming promises to make history.
A new location, a new chapter
Juan Carlos I Park stands as the new sonic epicenter of Brunch Electronik in Madrid. It will be during the last weekend of June—the 28th and 29th—that this new venue will witness the birth of what is already shaping up to be an unforgettable season.
On Saturday, June 28th, Keinemusik, the revered Berlin collective, arrives with the momentum of an institution. Adam Port and Rampa, two of its leading figures, will headline a lineup designed to elevate the senses. Their return to the capital after gathering more than 30,000 people at the Caja Mágica in September 2024 represents much more than a performance: it is a ritual of loyalty between artist and city. Tickets here.
On Sunday the 29th, the spotlight shifts to another hemisphere. RÜFÜS DU SOL, undisputed ambassadors of Australian new electronica, will offer an exclusive DJ set in collaboration with Alma Occident Festival, in a nod to their recent sold-out performance in Madrid. A reunion that promises to be as emotional as it is devastating. Tickets here.
With more than 20 hours of electronic music concentrated in a single weekend and artists whose influence transcends genres and geographies, Brunch isn’t just a festival: it offers an immersive emotional, aesthetic, and sensorial experience.
Brunch closes Mad Cool Festival 2025
There are milestones that are written in capital letters. And this is one of them. For the first time, the Mad Cool Festival extends its run to host, on an additional day, a parallel universe: Brunch Electronik. On Sunday, July 13, the festival hands over the baton and the stage to the project that has redefined the codes of daytime raving in Spain.
The lineup says it all. Peggy Gou, a global icon and crossover phenomenon, headlines what is expected to be a historic day. She is joined by Jungle (DJ set), bringing her signature groove between funk and soul to the DJ booth; Mau P, effervescent as one of the essential names in contemporary house; and Macarena Hoffmann, the local pulse that beats strongly and represents the capital’s emerging talent. Tickets here.
More than just a collaboration, what is being signed is a declaration of principles: electronic music is now at the center of mainstream cultural discourse, and Brunch is positioning itself as its strongest ambassador.
A season that will define an era
Among the three major events of the summer, Brunch Electronik Madrid expects to bring together more than 40,000 attendees. But beyond the numbers—convincing, yes—the true achievement lies in the construction of a community, an ecosystem, and its own language.
What began as an alternative event has become a cultural institution, a meeting point for a generation that dances, thinks, and celebrates to the same beat. This summer, Madrid will not only be the capital of Spain. It will be the capital of outdoor clubbing in Europe. And Brunch, its highest flag.
