Next Sunday, 29 March, the Barcelona-based project will officially launch its spring Opening Season.
Now established as one of Barcelona‘s must-see electronic music events, Brunch Electronik is kicking off a new cycle that promises growth, diversity and a programme designed to continue expanding its musical and cultural universe, while strengthening its ties with the city that saw it come into being.
The return to Poble Espanyol is no coincidence. This enclave is part of the festival’s DNA: heritage, architecture and a unique atmosphere that fit perfectly with its understanding of daytime electronic music. A space that becomes a meeting point for a community that grows season after season and comes together again to celebrate the start of intense months of music and shared experiences.
The Main Stage will be headlined by Paco Osuna, one of the most influential figures in contemporary techno and an undisputed reference point on the global electronic scene. With a solid track record and a direct connection to the dance floor, he will be responsible for setting the pace for this highly anticipated opening.
Alongside him, Rendher and Joëlla Jackson will offer a shared set that promises intensity, groove and a contemporary take on techno, while Franca Arriola, a regular on the Barcelona scene, will complete the line-up, representing the local talent that defines Brunch‘s identity.
As part of this Opening Season, the Upload Room will feature a special curation by Rotary, a Barcelona collective committed to club culture and the underground electronic scene. This space becomes a sound laboratory where new narratives, emerging sounds and proposals that broaden the artistic spectrum of the event can be explored.
The Upload Room line-up will feature Malena, Charlotte and Harmonic, a selection designed to delve deeper into the more alternative and local pulse of Barcelona’s clubbing scene, reinforcing Brunch’s commitment to artistic diversity and emerging talent.
