Bulgari and BLACKPINK’s LISA team up to launch limited edition watch

With BVLGARI BVLGARI BVLGARI, an undisputed icon, LISA, an unrivalled muse and the casual appeal of the iconic edelweiss flower… the Roman jewellery house has designed the limited edition BVLGARI BVLGARI BVLGARI X LISA: inimitable, high-value and coming on strong.

Her style? Very feminine and very decisive. Its emblem? The edelweiss flower, an energetic and eternal alpine star. Its colour? Surprising, spectacular.

Bulgari and LISA, the captivating artist known for being part of the K-Pop group BLACKPINK, have worked together to create the limited edition BVLGARI BVLGARI X LISA. Crafted in steel and rose gold, with an engraved BVLGARI BVLGARI bezel and a dial illuminated by diamonds.

Launched in 1975, the BVLGARI ROMA collection became BVLGARI BVLGARI BVLGARI in 1977. As was the case with the entrepreneur’s name on the old coins, the 14 letters engraved on the bezel evoke the firm’s distinctive Italian style.

Raising a brand name to the status of a major design element on a watch was a revolution at the time and is still a statement of intent – not everyone dares to display a name like that, with complete freedom!

The collaboration between Bulgari and LISA did not come about by chance: the artist also composes her own codes, very much in keeping with the times. The ‘Unexpected Wonders’ campaign has made the young Thai woman the visible face of BVLGARI BVLGARI.

LISA was responsible for choosing and designing the recreation of her favourite flower, the edelweiss, an Alpine star with a markedly Swiss character: a nod to a country she loves and which is home to the watch manufacturer Bulgari. At the heart of the petals, the singer has drawn her initial, an ‘L’ that evokes her commitment to this project. The work is engraved on the back of the BVLGARI BVLGARI X LISA LIMITED EDITION models, along with the words ‘Fabriqué en Suisse’ (‘Made in Switzerland’). This personalisation, which radiates beauty and authenticity, can also be seen on the box next to the LISA signature.

The exuberance of the BVLGARI BVLGARI lettering on the rose gold bezel contrasts with the stark minimalist character of the dial. The colour changes subtly depending on the light reflected by the refined sunray design of the dial, which is as much a surprise as the collection itself. Twelve diamonds, accompanied by two rose-gold hands, mark the hours on this attractive dial.

The BVLGARI BVLGARI X LISA LIMITED EDITION is fitted to the wrist with a steel bracelet with a satin-brushed and slightly polished finish. Driven by a quartz movement, it is produced in a limited series of 700 pieces for the 33 mm diameter version and 300 for the 23 mm iteration.
