Last Thursday took place in the heart of Madrid, the inauguration event of the new Carhartt WIP shop, located at Calle Fuencarral 90. To celebrate this milestone, a presentation event was held with a dj set by MercaBae and a live performance by British singer Qendresa. The event brought together Madrid’s creative scene, as well as editors from some of Spain’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines.
The new space, located at 90 Fuencarral Street, is in a unique setting where the creative energy of Malasaña, the classic charm of Chamberí and the contemporary appeal of Salesas converge, perfectly reflecting the diverse spirit of the city.
The shop’s design was conceived by Salomée Faeh in collaboration with Andrea Caputo’s Milanese architecture studio, combining industrial details with organic elements to achieve a modern and balanced ambience. Wooden tables with natural grains add warmth and contrast with the concrete finishes of the walls and ceiling, a nod to the brand’s functional heritage. In addition, concrete bricks in the checkout area reinforce Carhartt WIP’s unique identity.
The result is a space defined by clean lines and a neutral colour palette, designed to showcase the brand’s seasonal collections.
