Although winter has only just begun, Carhartt WIP is already looking ahead. The brand unveils an early preview of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, a proposal designed to ease the shift from the harshest cold into the warmer months. Lightweight layers, functional garments and a carefully considered selection of outerwear come together to form a wardrobe built for seasonal transition. Denim stands out as the key focus.

Denim defines the spirit of SS26. Faded, grunge-inspired washes sit alongside raw denim pieces, from jackets to trousers. Once again, the fabric proves it remains a central pillar within the Carhartt WIP universe. It is only an initial glimpse, but one that clearly sets the tone for the season ahead.

The collection places versatility at the forefront. Each piece is designed to work from the final weeks of winter through to the height of summer. Basic T-shirts, lightweight jackets and a heavier option featuring a fireman-style clasp form the backbone of the range. Key pieces include a vintage-wash denim midi skirt and a reworked version of the brand’s classic double-knee, reimagined as relaxed-fit jorts.

The colour palette leans into muted tones. Deep burgundies and earthy browns reinforce an understated, timeless quality that allows the garments to be worn throughout the year.

The SS26 preview does not yet have a release date. When it arrives, it will be available in selected stores and via the official Carhartt WIP website. A preview that confirms the brand’s ongoing ability to craft contemporary uniforms without losing its core identity.
