Carlangas and Los Cubatas dance embraced in ‘Discos vacías’

The artist from Compostela woke up with another face, but presents a new preview of what will be ‘Bailódromo, Vol. 1’, his next album.

Carlangas and Los Cubatas dance embraced in ‘Discos vacías’

Carlangas y Los Cubatas have dawned with the faces of others, but with one of the biggest hits per square second that you will hear this summer: ‘Discos vacías’, a song that serves as the third advance of what will be the first volume of ‘Bailódromo’, the next recording exercise of the artist from Santiago de Compostela and successor to the album of the same name with which he debuted a little over a year ago.

Making eyes at the melodic and aesthetic imaginary of an arc that goes from The Cure to The Drums, but without losing the muscle and rock tension that has characterised Carlangas for more than a decade, the musician from Compostela presents one of his most immediate and energetic hits, but which helps to inhabit other spaces of that transversal dance imaginary that ‘Bailódromo’ will represent.

After presenting ‘Tiemblo’ and ‘Mucho con poco’, two songs that inhabited dance climates closer to disco, funk and punk new wave; in this ‘Discos vacías’ he recovers the punch of the drums, the ultra-melodic circular riffs, the groove of new rock and a cut of infallible phrases to tattoo on your forearm this summer.

The joke is over: Carlangas is back.
