Under the title “Shapes of Poetry”, a collection emerges that evokes the designer’s romantic world through the functional lens of LifeWear.
UNIQLO is once again turning on its creative radar this season, this time in collaboration with Cecilie Bahnsen, offering a joint collection that strikes a balance between delicacy and practicality, with everyday pieces that embody the Danish designer’s artisanal sensibility. Soft silhouettes, voluminous cuts and an ethereal aesthetic blend seamlessly with the Japanese brand’s obsession with comfort, lightness and fabric quality.
“I’ve always designed clothes meant to be lived in, worn and cherished in everyday life – something that also defines UNIQLO’s LifeWear concept. I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to share that vision with so many women and girls around the world through this collection. Working with Louise and Maria Thornfeldt on the campaign has been particularly meaningful; they embody so naturally the idea of sisterhood that lies at the heart of Cecilie Bahnsen and everything we wanted to convey with this collection,” explains Bahnsen.
Flowers, ruffles and frills feature here in their most refined and accessible form, yet remain just as evocative. Each garment can be worn on its own or as part of a single concept that allows for different combinations.
