BAPE® and Spotify have joined forces on an unprecedented project with Central Cee taking on the role of creative director through his brand SYNA. The partnership places the British artist at the centre of a collection that celebrates the connection between music, fashion and youth culture. BAPE®’s visual universe serves as the foundation for the entire concept.

The collection revolves around one key piece: BAPE®’s iconic purple hoodie. Closely tied to hip-hop aesthetics, it inspires the violet tone that defines several garments. Among them is a standout puffer that revives one of Central Cee’s favourite colourways. Other highlights include the “Synning BAPE” graphic tee, which reinterprets the brand’s classic codes, and a football jersey set to become one of the most sought-after items.

The creative process maintains a direct link to music. Each garment is connected to specific sonic ideas that helped shape its character. Some labels even include hidden links leading to a Spotify playlist curated by the rapper. The project also features exclusive BABY MILO® graphics referencing the energy and experiences of London’s youth culture.

“I felt confident I could creatively direct this collaboration between BAPE® x SPOTIFY x SYNA. I’m looking forward to seeing people out there wearing the pieces,” says Central Cee.

The capsule created with Central Cee will launch globally on 25 November at selected BAPE STORE® locations, on the BAPE® website and via SYNA’s online store.
