The actor is riding high with his starring role in Blink Twice, the thriller that marks Zoë Kravtiz‘s directorial debut. And of course, when your future wife throws herself into such a personal project, it’s time to pay tribute to her. So did Channing Tatum, who dedicated an emotional Instagram post to celebrate Kravitz’s work.
‘This sweetie… She’s so exhausted, bro. Every time I thought it would break, it just kept going and going. Always digging for the truth. She poured every ounce of herself into this movie,’ Tatum wrote, accompanying the caption with a photo in which, bare-chested, Zoë rests on his lap.
‘I’m so proud to be standing here with my ten fingers on the ground for her, this film and everyone who was a part of it. Forever. Knowing all that it took to make it. No one else will ever know,’ he continued. ‘Thank you for finding me and seeing me. I have you forever. You and me back to back against everything. I’ll never blink. Let’s go #blinktwice.’
Tatum and Kravitz’s story began to be written in the summer of 2021, and they’ve been adding chapters ever since. Zoë was spotted with an engagement ring at a Halloween party last October, confirming what many already suspected.
On the latest episode of Complex’s GOAT Talk, when Tatum was asked what the best gift he ever received was, he looked at Kravitz’s ring. ‘What’s that? That’s not a gift, is it?’ asked Zoë as he laughed. ‘It’s something different. But that subtle look at my ring, man, that said it all.’ Tatum, replied, ‘So what was the best gift you’ve ever been given?’ An answer that, deep down, we all know by now.
