Charli XCX makes a foray into the world of film with ‘The Moment’

Charli XCX is taking her creativity to new frontiers with her foray into film, embarking on a project as intriguing as it is exciting: The Moment, a feature film for A24. Not only will he star in the film, but he will also be stepping into the world of production with his recently launched production company, Studio365. The film is already generating buzz thanks to a high-calibre creative team and the avant-garde artistic vision Charli has cultivated throughout her career. Although plot details have not yet been officially revealed, Variety reported Thursday that the film will be about the artist’s life.

The film will be directed by Aidan Zamiri, a Scottish photographer and filmmaker who is taking a decisive step into directing in his feature film debut. Along with Bertie Brandes, Zamiri co-writes a script that promises to be as enigmatic as it is visceral. As for the soundtrack, A.G. Cook, the sound architect behind the film’s soundtrack. Cook, the sound architect behind the acclaimed Brat, returns to collaborate with Charli to compose a score that will undoubtedly be as experimental and futuristic as his previous productions.
