After several months focusing on his DJ and curatorial side with his collective Mareo, Chico Blanco is back with an updated version of ‘Cadillac Solitario’, one of the undisputed classics of national pop.
For some time now, the artist has been giving hints about his love for this intergenerational hymn that his mother listened to when he was a child, naming it in interviews and revisiting it live.
On this occasion, Chico Blanco leaves aside his dancefloor side to show his pop side and deliver an electronic ballad without a beat that will make us float until we reach the final climax.
The video, in which the artist himself becomes the protagonist of this melancholic story, was made by the production company Carne al Corte and filmed on the iconic slope of Barcelona’s Tibidabo.
Nostalgia, a very recurrent feeling in the Granada-born musician’s proposal, permeates this release, which is the first musical step in a season that promises more new emotions very soon.
