Cillian Murphy joins Versace as an official face

The official appointment comes just three days after the acclaimed actor wore an impeccable dinner jacket signed by the Italian house.

Cillian Murphy is the talk of the town. Not only for winning the prestigious gold statuette for his starring role in ‘Oppenheimer’ but also for becoming the first male ambassador for Versace Icons, the luxury basics line of the fashion house directed by Donatella Versace. Joining him is Anne Hathaway, co-star of the inaugural campaign featuring the everyday pieces and fellow Irishman.

“I am delighted that Cillian is joining the Versace family. He is an exceptional actor and deserves his Oscar. He is magnetic and mesmerising in front of a camera and I loved watching him bring Versace to life,” says Donatella herself.

This milestone in the career of Murphy, whose low-key, out-of-the-spotlight personality surprises his fans, is noteworthy. He considers himself a very quiet person who loves to have “a normal life” and do “normal things”.
