Ciutat and Tristán! collaborate on the song ‘Nadie Sabe’

The Barcelona duo formed by Jordi (JP Sunshine) and Guillem (Guim), two well-known DJs on the Barcelona scene and members of the Mainline collective, have released a new single, Nadie Sabe, the second preview of what will be their second album after Chesterfield, entitled Ciutat l’Amistat.

Nadie sabe, which will form part of Ciutat’s second LP, is a danceable ballad accompanied by Tristán -the youngest member of the Rusia IDK collective and a regular collaborator of Rusowsky-, who joins forces with the Barcelona duo to produce one of the most beautiful songs of the year so far this year.

Ciutat have the perfect formula for timelessness without moths: smooth house, sweet string arrangements, echoes of Elliott Smith, Bee Gees, MK.Gee, Jon Secada, the most sentimental Beach Boys and a handful of questions sung with teary-eyed emotion.

JP Sunshine and Guim have taken a step forward with this second album – scheduled for autumn 2024 – which definitely makes them one of the most interesting pop groups of the future, combining classic melodies with 2024 arrangements.

CIUTAT’s Chesterfield, whose title is a clear reference to cigarette culture, actually talks about love.
