Coconutscankill debuts at Madrid es Moda with ‘Sobremesa’, its new spring-summer 2025 collection. The iconic space of the Casa de Galicia, a stone’s throw from the Prado Museum, was the chosen setting for a presentation that fuses fashion and Galician culture. Inspired by the tradition of Galician after-dinner parties and the sophisticated patterns of gala dress and regional dance, the collection is steeped in equal parts nostalgia and modernity.
The proposal was unveiled through an innovative performance that broke with conventional moulds, with models moving among an artistic installation curated by Gusto Services. The staging recreated an authentic Galician ‘sobremesa’, with an atmosphere charged with symbolism and references to typical festivities, reflected in both the decoration and the gastronomy. An immersive, multi-sensory experience that celebrates the essence of Galicia in every detail.

The collection features 8 carefully crafted looks that mix plaid prints, lace, and prints that evoke the designer’s roots. The collaboration with two Galician artisans, Elena Ferro and Zeltia, stands out. The shoes, reinterpretations of the traditional clogs of the Eferro brand, and the open-work embroidery – characteristic of the traditional Galician costume – carried out by Zeltia, show the Coconutscankill logo in a perfect symbiosis of tradition and contemporaneity.
The styling, in the hands of the visionary Cara Cano, adds a unique touch to the collection, bringing an extra dimension to a project that leaves no one indifferent and reaffirms the brand’s commitment to its roots and innovation.
