The creative duo, who first joined forces in 2024 with double-minded design proposals, reunite with an innovative reinterpretation of the iconic Mostro silhouette, following the legacy of previous collaborations such as the PUMA Velophasis and PUMA Suede XL. This new capsule promises to up the ante even further.
The Mostro, one of PUMA’s most coveted silhouettes in recent times, was successfully resurrected under the vision of A$AP Rocky, and is now reinvented under the creative direction of Hillary Taymour. In this edition, the trainer comes in three unique colourways: a plaid print, a delicate pastel ‘rose quartz’ and a pristine white.
‘Working with PUMA on Mostro has been a deeply nostalgic experience,’ said Taymour. ‘It was a shoe I wore constantly in the early 2000s, and revisiting it through a new design lens has been quite a creative journey.’
These trainers, which fuse mixed textures and floral detailing, are made from recycled materials and feature a distinctive feature: giant tongue flaps in the shape of flowers, stamped with the shared logo. They also come with two pairs of interchangeable flaps.
