Converse redefines an icon.
For more than a century, the Chuck Taylor All Star has held a central place within sneaker culture. Looking ahead to 2026, Converse chooses to refresh this legacy without breaking away from its essence, introducing three new silhouettes that offer different takes on the same icon. Throughout the year, the brand will unveil these models, designed to connect both with nostalgia and with current aesthetic trends.
Chuck Taylor All Star Throwback
First up, the Chuck Taylor All Star Throwback sits closer to reinterpretation than to a full reinvention. The model draws clear inspiration from the 1990s and from classic All Stars, featuring a black-and-white colour palette, a more substantial sole and thick laces that reinforce its retro character. As a result, the silhouette remains instantly recognisable while gaining presence and visual weight to suit today’s context.

Chuck Taylor Lo
By contrast, the Chuck Taylor Lo takes a more understated approach. Its slim, low-profile design aligns with the trend towards cleaner, more discreet trainers. In addition, its simple and functional construction makes it a versatile option, designed for everyday wear and in tune with the minimalism that defines much of contemporary footwear.

Run Star Crush
Finally, the Run Star Crush stands out as the boldest option of the trio. Here, Converse pushes the model into more experimental territory, with a pronounced platform silhouette and a clearly sculptural approach. The shiny, cracked leather upper is paired with an exaggerated sole, turning the trainer into a statement piece aimed at a more fashion-focused audience.

This new Chuck Taylor models will roll out gradually throughout 2026. The first release is set for this spring and will be available via the official Converse website and a selection of retailers.
