Corsets – 1987 to present day: The exhibition paying tribute to the legacy of Vivienne Westwood

The exhibition Corsets – 1987 to Present Day celebrates Vivienne Westwood’s unique subversion of underwear into outerwear.

Putting the spotlight on Vivienne Westwood’s most iconic silhouette, the British fashion house pays tribute to the iconic designer through a unique exhibition.

Corsets – 1987 to Present Day, the exhibition celebrating the designer‘s unique subversion of underwear into outerwear, will open as part of London Craft Week, which begins on 8 May. It brings together a series of archival pieces that show the connection between the corset, culture and fine art throughout history.

To enrich the exhibition, a limited edition jewellery collection will be unveiled, featuring the Westwood Portrait corset turned 3D charm. This piece corresponds to a gold-plated charm and appears in the form of a bracelet and necklace. Both pieces will be available for purchase online.

The exhibition Vivienne Westwood: Corsets – 1987 to Present Day will be open to the public from 8 to 21 May at 44 Conduit Street W1S 2YL (London).
