Nicolas di Felice’s latest proposal for Courrèges is based on the use of technology and the impact it has on our daily lives.
To what extent are we consumed by technology? This was the question that was asked as the first model opened the fashion show illuminated by her phone screen. Her look, completely oversized at the top, consisted of a biker jacket with arm openings that allowed the arms to be pulled out to hold a smartphone.
Courrèges‘ FW23 collection featured a series of semi-translucent pieces, leather jackets, knitted dresses, shiny leather tops and oversized outerwear. Thigh-high boots and thigh-high boots were particularly prominent, as were circular mirrored details. All with the iconic AC logo and a colour palette that played with black, white, red and pink.
