The avant-garde brand presents a collection entitled ‘Our Rhythm’ driven by its rich heritage of African culture.

Daily Paper SS24 explores the power of rhythm and community

Daily Paper intensifies its narrative to reflect the journey of the individual in the midst of finding and creating their own rhythm. A free movement that manifests itself in the collection through dynamic patterns, graphics and diverse cuts.

As part of the diaspora, one shares the feeling of growing up in a country or culture that does not belong to you. The space seems temporary and the sense of belonging is missing. The search for a rhythm that feels natural, good and comfortable becomes essential,’ read the notes of this evolving series for SS24.

The search for that rhythm and sense of belonging through community is also embodied in prints and graphics that show masses of people living in harmony in coordinated sets, sweatshirts, T-shirts and tailored suits in earthy tones; along with others inspired by animal and migratory rhythms through cargo or crochet.

Classic monogrammed denim is now presented with a destroyed effect, while vintage-inspired blues evoke that nostalgic spirit that coexists with the digital prints of Nigerian visual artist Alexis Tsegba, whose practice is an exploration of Afrofuturism and identity.

Daily Paper‘s ready-to-wear collection for the autumn-winter season is completed with iconic bags such as the Cimbia, Codu, Meru and Nay, which come in the new baby blue and grey “Moonstruck” colours.
